Annual Conference 2025

Since the amendment of the Higher Education Quality Assurance Act 2024, academic integrity and artistic integrity are a central quality issue for AQ Austria and the Austrian higher education area. In cooperation with key stakeholders, in particular with the Austrian Agency for Scientific Integrity (OeAWI), it is in our common interest to promote the topic in a holistic and cross-sectoral way - across the areas of teaching, learning and research. Across the higher education sector, expertise on academic integrity and artistic integrity is intrinsically woven into all levels, documented through demonstrable measures and examples of good practice.. The AQ Austria Annual Conference 2025 will build on the results of the last AQ Austria Annual Conference 2024 by broadening the areas for development identified together with representatives of higher education institutions during the previous conference.

The aim of the AQ Austria Annual Conference 2025 is to shed light on the effectiveness of measures and examples of good practice for strengthening a culture of academic integrity and artistic integrity across the Austrian higher education area and to promote cross-sectoral exchange between relevant institutions and through contributions from higher education-representatives, research institutions, students and associated networks.
