Publications of AQ Austria

AQ Austria employees regularly publish expert articles on topics related to external quality assurance and quality development in higher education. These publications are an important contribution to the ongoing discussion and further development of quality in higher education.

AQ Austria publishes an annual activity report that provides a comprehensive overview of the agency's activities and developments over the past year. The report contains information on quality assurance procedures, staff development, and the deployment of financial resources.

AQ Austria's work is based on clearly defined legal principles, which are set out in guidelines and regulations. These regulate the framework conditions of the various external quality assurance procedures and contain provisions on the associated costs as well as on the agency's internal procedures and processes.

Universities of Applied Sciences and private universities prepare an annual report on developments in the previous academic year. This annual report must be submitted to AQ Austria by March 31. The reports are published on the websites of the HEIs and, in the case of private universities, also on the AQ Austria website.
