Topics & network activities

The members of the network meet four times a year to discuss relevant topics and current developments in the field of recognition of prior learning.

 

The network currently focuses on the following topics:

  • Interpretation and implementation of the legal framework in dialogue with the Austrian Federal Ministry of Women, Science and Research (BMFWF) as well as formulation of recommendations for the design of the legal framework
  • Exchange of experience and advice on
    • quality-assured recognition procedures and on the implementation of the procedures at higher education institutions,
    • Statutory regulations for validation and
    • Benefits and limitations of crediting databases.
