Co-operation and networking

Academic and artistic integrity are part of the shared core values of the European Higher Education Area. AQ Austria ensures quality in Austria through its membership and active participation in leading national and international networks, and works closely with the Austrian Agency for Academic Integrity (ÖAWI) in this context. Other memberships and collaborations include, for example:

• GAIN (Global Academic Integrity Network)
• ENAI (European Network for Academic Integrity)
• BFUG (Bologna Follow-up Group) Working Group on Fundamental Values in the European Higher Education Area
• ETINED (Council of Europe Platform on Ethics, Transparency and Integrity in Education) Project “Fraud-Act – Countering Fraud through a Holistic Approach and Data Collection”
• Working Group on Integrity in Artistic Study, Teaching, and Research Activities (BMFWF)
• ENQA (European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) Working Group on “Academic Integrity”

Through this proactive exchange of knowledge, AQ Austria ensures that global standards and current developments are directly incorporated into the Austrian quality assurance system and that the positioning of higher education institutions as “ethical institutions” (ICAI) is strengthened.
